As part of the Church of Saint Kyriaki the Great Martyr, Luča represents a space of faith and community. The center serves as both a place of gathering and a reminder of spiritual guidance.

Brief
Luča needed a symbol that would instantly feel rooted in Christianity and carry the meaning of light as a sign of God’s guidance. Since the identity would live mostly within the community, it had to feel familiar and respectful.

Our Approach
Early sketches set the direction, but their true value was in the meaning they carried. We took what was already meaningful and worked step by step to refine it, while keeping the essence intact. The final symbol draws from early Christian forms and the idea of light as guidance.

Conclusion
Luča received an identity that people can recognize, a symbol is a quiet mark that carries meaning without explanation. For us, this work was an exercise in restraint and caretaking: learning to translate sketches with fidelity, to balance “rustic” character with modern clarity, and to approach faith-related design with humility and precision.
